| ABOUT ME: My secret desire to be a professional artist came to fruition in 2005, after raising three wonderful sons with my husband. My favourite subjects are botanical illustration and natural history, especially birds. Between 2003–2005 and 2008–2009 I learned the art of Botanical Illustration and Illuminated Lettering respectively, at the University of Cambridge, and now offer gold leaf illumination, as well as work in water colour, oil, pen and ink, and pencil. I am currently researching to publish a new coffee table book, so shall only be exhibiting at a few venues during 2013. My part in the production of the book will be to arrange all the artwork and photographs and a 10,000 word project. My co-author, Dr Sylvia Haslam, whose website listing most of her publications in a long and illustrious authorship is at the Rivers and Reeds Website, will be scripting the main text and putting everything together.
