| Illuminated Celtic "T" A course at Homerton College, Cambridge enlightened me about the art of illuminated lettering. It is truly a remarkable art, and I learnt how to illuminate letters in styles throughout the ages, from about 600 AD. An added bonus was learning how to apply gold leaf over a gesso base - another art in itself. This "T" is in the Celtic style, which does not have any gilding, i.e. water colour only.
