English birds are very beautiful: Garden birds are all around, sparrows, starlings, all abound. Our doorstep crawls with feeding birds, trills and shrillstheir spoken words; to those who take the time to listen. And in the sun their plumage glistens. Little feathered friends are they, who brighten hearts on gloomy days. But also Fen provides a home for pheasant birds we call our own. The "Monarch" proud with hens nearby, protecting all from passers by.

Britain's seasons portray a wonderful diversity of contrasting colours: So little sun to light the day…January so cold and bleak, the wind blows cold you cannot speak. But Nature always has her way, as shining from the darkest day, lovely little snowdrops peak. …October brings a shorter day, seeds erupt and drop to earth to nestle down, await new birth. See the spindle's colours bright, the conker's glistening, shining light: majestic leavesmajestic sight!

Flowers and Plants do warm the heart: "Say it with flowers" is the usual line, though real ones quickly fade with time. Silken petals of scentless rose, or plastic blooms in vases pose. And as I watch in gentle breeze, I give my tubes of paint a squeeze, onto my palette to mix and ply to paper with an artist's eye - as colours all around me shower, the "Everlasting Flower Power"!

Other Subjects and Commissions: Pets, People and Places, art has many faces. Little dogs, big dogs and furry ones too, loving friends to me and to you. Tall people, short people, large and small, on canvas the artist loves them all. The waters that run, the clouds in the breeze, buildings stand tall as do the trees.
