COMMISSION for the 2010 Chelsea Flower Show

Illumination: The Victorian Aviary Garden O1008

ORIGINAL WATER COLOUR. Completed February 2010. 16" x 12".

This illumination was commissioned by PHILIPPA PEARSON, Garden and Landscape Designer, and her associate, JONATHAN DENBY. Philippa and Jonathan have been selected to show a garden at the 2010 Chelsea Flower Show, entitled, ‘The Victorian Aviary Garden’. Philippa will also have a display at Hampton Court Palace Flower show, 6th to 11th July 2010 entitled, 'The Girl Guiding UK Centenary Garden'.

The work was painted with water colour, gum arabic, and gold metallic powder. The brief was to design the illumination around an earlier commission of an artist’s impression of the garden.
